Plan Downgrade FAQ

What happens to my companions if I downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade your subscription (e.g., from Ultimate to Premium, or Premium to Free), you will keep all your companions, but some may become locked if you exceed your new plan's limits.

How Locking Works:

• Over the Limit: If you have more companions than your new plan allows, the system prioritizes your oldest companions. Any companions exceeding your new limit will be locked (greyed out).
  • Example: You have 15 companions and downgrade to a plan that allows 10. Your 10 oldest companions remain active. The 5 newest companions will be locked.
• Romantic Companions (Free Plan): If you downgrade to the Free plan, ALL companions with "Romantic" traits will be locked immediately, regardless of when they were created, as this is a paid feature.

What does "Locked" mean?

• Locked companions are visible in your dashboard but are greyed out.
• You cannot chat with them.
• They are NOT deleted. Their memories and history are safe.

How do I unlock them? To access locked companions, you can either:

1. Upgrade your plan to increase your limit.
2. Delete older, active companions to free up slots for the newer ones (the system will automatically unlock the next available companion in line).
